This lets you use the USB communication with cybermax micro.

MP3K+, v1.0, 07/08 (July 2008)
You can check this in your LCD menu system (Firmware)
Latest firmware is v2.3 (9/10), contact our support for upgrade options, this latest version fixes bug with not saving some settings

Updated manual, frequency table has been added + other changes.
Complete manual is now 33 pages.

Note that you can set MAX PRO 3000+ also to 76MHz or even use
it in the 40-54MHz band.

Also note that SE5000 maxlink cable should go from stereo encoder to
max pro 3000+ and not to LCD display (as was erroneously shown
on now corrected diagram)

Firmware last version is now 1.4. (you can check this on LCD module)

Big manual update, added ControlMini1 and ControlMini2,
also describes new menu system.

It now contains very informative guide for all transmitter builders,
check out the appendix.

If you are loosing settings at power off this is the firmware version that fixes the problem.

How can I upgrade the firmware of my unit?

When electric flow goes down, it loose all settings, and sets to 87,5 mhz

Basically the micro on the LCD module needs to be replaced, but that is easy since it is in a socket.

I got the MAX PRO 3000+ some months ago, it's a great transmitter. However I was curious about the SWR function. On the second screen (after powering up, when the TXs screen switches for the first time), the output power is shown as well as the SWR, if I understand this correctly. But does the transmitter show the actual SWR value, the percentage of the power reflected or the actual value of the power reflected in Watts?

It shows reflected power in watts.
