66-108 antenns

Have the 66-108 (500W) antenna, each pole measured at 25" (perfect) SWR is 1:0:1, using NEW fencing pole for height (20 feet)
cable is great, now i cant get the proper distance. 15W transmitter/booster.
should i invest in another type of antenna?
This is the antenna PCS gave me with the 15W package i bought.
everything is working perfectly, but i am in a residental neighborhood, the antenna is past the top of the house,. know i am bugging Marko of PCS (thanks marko) but i need the distance. only getting 1 mile if that. Everything in this set up has been analyzed, topics up the ying yang, corrections and adjustments have been made. now i am banging my head against the wall.
The antenna part of this adventure is next to last option of this whole episode.

Well, GP antenna has slightly less gain than a regular dipole. It is however
robust, easy to setup and cheap. You opted for it for these reasons I guess.

You are very likely to have a nice improvement of range with this antenna.

Even better would be getting 2 or 4 dipoles here, but do not forget the
2-way or 4-way splitter and clamps for mounting:

I'd try to work on antenna first and than move on to increasing power.

If you are licensed as you say you are your license may be specifying the
type of antenna that you may use, check that out.

One note, increasing power from 15 to 25W will have almost no effect.
To increase range 2x you need to increase power 4x.

So anything short of 50W is a waste of money, in my opinion.

Marko, would you PLEEEEEEZE do me a favor,
i have now the 5/8 wave colinear antenna (3 diapole) any how, i am up 25 feet, using H-550 cable, SWR at 1.5.0 (pretty good) distance still very short,
can you please chk my coordinance and see if there is any i can do for improvement. Plus i am going to get a low pass filter as well to help. and also, can i put a larger booster on the lpfm card as well?

Check the new 25W and 40W boosters, here:

Now 40W would definitely make a difference.

They are still in production so they start shipping in 2 weeks.
However we did ship a few samples and they work well.

By the way, I have the same antenna, and with 0 SWR, using 15...20W, having the antenna at about 30 meters above ground with no higher obstacles around, I can receive my signal (stereo+RDS), on a car radio at about 25km. I have used the same setup having 250W, and the signal can be received very good at 40km and more.
