Just a couple days ago a customer asked for a quote for what
he thought would be a small radio station. The funny thing is he
expected a range of 100Km or so.... I wonder what would the range
for a big radio station be? 10.000Km maybe? Whole Europe or whole
South America?
To top it off, he mistyped his email in reply-to field so when I replied the
answer bounced off and could not be delivered.
Another common mistake is to judge the range based on the range of listeners.
"I need a radio station for about 1000 listeners". Its as if every listener took
away say 1 watt of power and you needed 1000 to cover 1000 listeners.
Maybe those with stereo receivers use 2W, who knows
