Having Same trouble, (windows XP Pro) downloaded the drivers from the site a couple of time and tried using some other older ones and SAM will not pick it up, it used to work at one time, now it does not. The driver is not cathing some how, Can you help please? I Did uninstall and re installed ...

what is the J1 and J2 jumpers supposed to be set at? are they supposed to be removed? or set differently?

Its not the cable or the equiptment. Its the antenna.
I recieved the GP 66-108 antenna from you and its 1/4 wave.
for this neck of the woods, it needs 5/8 wave.

Have the 66-108 (500W) antenna, each pole measured at 25" (perfect) SWR is 1:0:1, using NEW fencing pole for height (20 feet)
cable is great, now i cant get the proper distance. 15W transmitter/booster.
should i invest in another type of antenna?

PCI MAX 2007 with 15W FM Booster with the 5/8 wave antenns....ANYHOW...installe the RG 59U cables, SWR meter connected, SETTED it (FWD) shows .2:1.0
but the LED red squares on the unit shows 8 bars....does that matter?
or just worry whats on the actual SWR meter?

will cable surfice? 20 feet at best.

As to the area i am in, it was a mistake to get the 15W booster, should of gotten at least the 25W.
QUESTION: can i put a 100W amplifier (that you sell) onto this unit for more signal distance? or do i have to buy another unit all together?

To be perfectly clear on what i purchased....its the "PC based 15W transmitter package"
it said in the description on the web site for the product, that it should go 15 to 20 km in range with good terrain. so the knuckle head that i am , i converted km to miles so it came up 10 to 12 miles....see ...

Yes this transmitter is the PCS PCI Max 2007 with 15W booster package which came with an awsome antenna.

Now if you guys are suggesting i should get new cable, please let me know what YOU would get so i may purchase it.

I still like the past question aswered please but what is the max distance for a 15W transmitter supposed to do? i thought it was around 10 miles. is this correct?

just changed the cable to RG-58 (50 ') 50 ohms which it should be, adjusted the antenna to spec. 1:1 on the SWR have the transmitter at full 15W, still distance problem, i do have a SWR meter i will be connection (a cheap one but will do). am i missing something?

Antenna is on a pole outside, up around 60 feet from the ground up, using with the antenna cable that came with the pcs 66-108 GP antenna TUNED
using as i said, the cable extention so it can reach the transmitter is 18 AWG (CATV CABLE) still only at 3.1 bars still only going mile or so.
