HELP! scratchy highs

My card is working and transmitting like a champ. But The highs are very scatchy or breaking up. I am streaming with Winamp and using the Sound Solution 1.31 with some of the free preformayyed setting. So far no luck.
Help please.

Did you set the lowpass at about 15KHz? Use either the EQ for the
card or settings in sound solutions to attenuate signal above 15KHz.
Also, you may be driving a bit too high audio level.

Do you have preemphasis added? If you are using the 2004+ model, you don't need to add preemphasis. The built in preemphasis within Sound Solution never sounds good anyways.

Thanks for the tips. I will try these settings.
Also I have tried to adjust power transmission down using the software but noticed no change. Do I use the potentiometer on the card?

BTW
I am using version 2.0 of the software, is this the latest? WHen I go to device manager and check driver date it says 11-4-2002

You need to reduce audio level, not RF level.
Than setup your audio software appropriately.
