Just curious....

I received my new PCI MAX 2004 today! I received it in 5 days from date of purchase! (Even after the knucklehead ICE (U.S. Customs) people tried to destory the thing during inbound customs inspection) I guess they were curious as to what this thing was and does? Thanks for the quick delivery PCS Electronics! Anyway.... I was wondering what the difference was in the "June 2004" revision from the eariler revisions of the PCI MAX 2004? I noticed that the on the PC board version that I received (June 2004) that it is missing an I.C. chip, cystal and numerious surface mounted capacitors up in the right hand corner of the PCI card. Is this some improvement over the eariler revisions, or am I missing some important components? Please let me know.

Thanks

You're not missing anything, that part of the PCB is reserved
for RDS encoder, which has not yet been implemented.

There are some minor improvements in your version of the
cards.
