card installed, no transmission

I have my card installed and it is recognized by the computer and found by the software (I have the latest version from the website installed). I have not been able to get any thing to transmit over the radio. I have been able to plug in my speakers and they transmit sound, but as of yet I have had no luck.

I have a 6-channel sound card so there are 3 outputs on it (front, rear and bass...actually 4 if you count the center channel output, but it is not a jack, is pin). I have yet to have any luck trying different configurations and different radio stations.

Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks.

So are you getting sound from the pass-through connection from the transmitter? If so, then I don't think it's the sound card. Or are you just having no sound come through when transmitting, yet you are broadcasting?

Well, I am getting sound on the pass through so I can listen using my computer speakers, I am just not picking anything up on any FM stations. I have tried a few different ones, but as of yet no luck. I have tried to pick up the signal just using a portable radio right next to my computer.

Again, all of the software appears to be working properly and it locates the PCI Max 2004, I just haven't been able to pick anything up on the radio yet.

Thanks for any help you can give.

Do you just not hear music, or does it sound like the transmitter isn't even on?

It sounds as though the transmitter is not doing anything at all.

I had a similar problem with mine as well. I ended up shipping it back and am waiting for my replacement to arrive.

I don't know whether you've really downloaded the latest driver.
It solves this exact issue with no outpower for some cards.

When you install the new driver go to the folder you installed into
and run the exe file there just to make sure you are using the right
shortcut.

Also, can you please try this at 3 different frequencies, at the top,
bottom and in the middle (such as 88, 108 and 100 MHZ).

Also make sure you put power slider to the top. You can also try
with the medium setting just to see what's going on there.
