I am looking into getting a PCI MAX 2004 and I am looking to get as much distance as I can within the legal limits. I live in Canada so I'm assuming that I cant have more than 1W. Is that correct?

The length of my pole/antenna setup would be 50 feet. What antenna is recommended for the most distance?

Also, whats the difference between EU and USA?

I assume the EU version is for countries that use the 50us curve for preemphasis and the US version uses 75.

You will likely get "technical" coverage at just about one mile. Anything past that might come in, but not very consistent. On antennas, I recommend the Comet 5/8 wave because it emits in all directions evenly.
