Toggle between sound car and transmitter?

I got my PCIMAX3000+ transmitter up and running but can't remember how to toggle between the transmitter and the sound card.
Even after I reboot my PC the transmitter takes over without even starting the MicroMax V40 program.

Set default audio card that is not the one from PCIMAX, exactly how depends on windows version.
And set your audio playback software that you use for PCI MAX to the sound card from PCIMAX (USB audio card).

I selected "turn device off" under the USB audio device in the device manager and that's all it took. Thanks.
