CyberMax Micro v4.0/PCIMAX 3000+ Problem

I have a PCIMAX 3000+ 1W using the CyberMax Micro v4.0 software. After much effort I finally got it operational. Now I have run into a problem.
When I try to change frequencies and try to update using UPDATE TX on the CyberMax UI nothing happens. It was working beautifully then just stopped.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you using correct com port?

Make sure you are using cybermax micro software for these cards/units.

Hi Marko,
Thank you fo the prompt reply. I am using the CyberMax Micro v4.0 software and drivers. Since my original post I have gotten the CyberMax to update using the UPDATE TX command after restarting the computer. The problem now is it will not change frequencies. I broadcast on 87.9. 87.9 is the frequency in the Transmitter Freq. window but the card is broadcasting on approximately 88.3 no matter what I do. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software and drivers numerous times to no avail. No matter what frequency is in the window when I update it still broadcast at 88.3.

Any help would be appreciated,

Hi,

Usually things go pretty smoothly with this latest model.

Since you are having so many difficulties it is possible that there is indeed a problem
with PCI MAX 3000+ card.

I will contact you via email so we can discuss service options.

Hi Marko,

Thanks again for the prompt replies. I was starting to have the same feeling about this card. I have had other problems with this card that I managed to work through myself. The problems seem to just start happening for no reasons. My setup has been the same since I installed the card.
The card I had before this one was a PCI MAX ULTRA, and it worked flawlessly. Know I'm sorry I let it go to a coworker.
The card I wanted was the PCIMAX 3000+ Platinum, but my ex bought me this one. The card is great when it it works, but it needs constant attention for one thing or the other.
I look forward to your email.

Well, we had problems with the 2007+ model, either with the drivers
or the final transistor. It was a quite sensitive card.

But the 3000+ is so far rock solid, we have had zero failed final transistors after more
than a year of sales. The built-in protection seems to be working.

We had a few people who could not install driver properly, but with our help that
was settled pretty fast. Now that we've updated the manual and guide this seems
to be a thing of the past as well.

Your card probably has some kind of hardware problem, send it over and we'll have a look.

Hi Marko,

Thanks again for your help and prompt replies.
I’m back from my trip and ready to restart troubleshooting.
Since my last post I started to suspect part of my problem might be hard drive related. I’ve installed a new 500gb hard drive and updated from XP HOME to Windows 7 Home Premium. Now the computer seems more stable, although the move has created another problem. When I install the USB2Comport driver the card won’t show up in the my PORTS(COM & LPT) drop down in device manager. It shows up in the sound device drop down part of device manager but does not have a Port for CyberMaxMicro v4.0 .
I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers several times, taken out the card and reinstalled it all to no avail. I’ve even tried to find a suitable VCP application on with no luck.
Any Help would be appreciated.
