With a booster 15W, i ve a power start with 20 W and down at 14 15 W (temperature up) mesured with a wattmetter. Now, after two week, i ve take my sender witch its stocked in a cellar and the power start with 20 W and down 10 W,

the power up and down 5 - 10 - 15 W and if i add a ventilator on the pci card, the power up and stabilized to 14W. But without a ventilator, before, i had 15W after 15min start. Without this ventilator, now, i have a crazy power !!!
Help me

I kill the output transistor on my max pro 3 with 15 output before, I have about 20watt output and i think thats the reasen why it was damaged.
Use good ventilation and a fan, and i think the power will be stabilized

The reason for changes in power is temperature protection.
Unit protects itself by powering off a little until it cools off.
This is why a fan helps

The only things that affects the power are:
- Power supply voltage
- Temperature
The temperature inside a PC can fluctuate even if it seems that there is no difference,
especially if the lid is closed. A typical computer CPU power draw can go from 5-10W
to 100W depending on computational requirements, which also mean a big variation
of temperature.
I can tell you how to disable protection, but do not come crying to me when the
final transistor dies due to overheating.
