Dumb question...

OK, I have everything hooked up. I run the software, it recognizes the PCIMAX card. When I flip the power switch to on, and I have an audio source feeding in to the PCIMAX card, Should the PCIMAX software show a needle moving, or something to show that I am transmitting a signal?

Thanks!

Nope, there is no needle moving.

There is a LED diode at the back at the card and the on/off button on the screen is
as well either illuminated or not to reflect the power status.

Thanks Marko! That is what I was hoping you would respond with...

Another question; I also have the 5 watt booster. Is it correct to believe that as long as the red LED does not come on, then I have a 1.5:1 SWR or less? Is the red LED a warning of a high or unacceptable SWR? Also, is there any manual or schematic for the 5 watt booster? I bought these items second hand. They are in excellent condition, and I have found the documentation for the PCIMAX Ultra card, but there is no documentation for the 5 watt booster. Is there any available?
I will keep asking questions, but I am not going to load you down with them, as I completely understand that you have a business to run as well.

Thanks!

The rather ancient 5W booster unit does not have anything fancy attached
to the RED led diode. Its just power on indicator, if memory serves me right.

If you liked that old booster you'd be absolutely swept away by the new 15W
booster with SWR/PWR bargraph LED meters.

Is there a manual available for the 5 watt booster that I have?

If so, please email to me. I have a LARGE email basket.
Thanks!
