Power output of ISA Max

Recently when I changed out the ISA Max card from
an older PC to a newer, more powerful computer
I've noticed a drop in both power and range.
Same coax, same antenna, same card, just
lower output power and decreased range. I'm assuming
that the motherboard must be delivering less
power to the card, as I can think of no other
explanation.
It's not a huge drop, perhaps 20%, so I doubt
that it's a blown final or anything like that. Thoughts?
Is there a way to correct this?

1 -The voltage of your power supply might be different in each computer. Some BIOS will
read voltage of system power supply. -check the BIOS
2 -the small coils on the board, if squeezed or stretched one way or another can effect
power output. check if they moved when you handled the board from one computer
to the next.
3 - check coaxial cables, and antenna. if SWR of antenna has changed, or frequency was moved
the power on meter will read differently into a tuned antenna.
If all else fails have the board and computer Exorcised.
PC ISA MAX Noise

I have a PC isa max I use mostly to hear my mp3 out in the yard as I work. I notice an annoying noise in between songs like background noise heard in between songs while playing an old vinyl record. I do not hear this noise if I connect an external source such as a cd player to the card. What can i do to get rid of this noise? Do I need a new sound card? I am very happy witht the range and sound of this card other than the problem mention. Help and suggestions are appreciated.

Maybe it's your method of connection? Are you using RCA's? Are you using the same set for both your record and CD player? Is it like a humming noise? If it is, it could be something to do with the connection from your record player to your sound card.
