I am living in Pakistan and I am a Student.I want to setup a small radio broadcast through my PC which can cover 10 to 20 Km Of Area.I want to run softwares on Linux and I am wondering if I will get or not the driver and radio automation for linux.
I have 2 PC's with good configuration and also have a GSM tower on 5th floor of building and I am living at last floor and what if my coaxial cable becomes long ?.Does this tower and long cable interrupt my transmission. Here In Pakistan I can get antenna's and cables and want to know about PCI MAX cards for PC and ofcourse a good and cheap entry level transmitter and these two things are enough for a good setup ?
Please guide me.waiting for reply.

Well this guide here:
https://www.pcs-electronics.com/purchas ... mystified/
does just that, give an example for a 15W system.
If you need more power, just insert another transmitter
from our lineup or add a better antenna.

Ok Now I read the guide. Now I want
1 x PCI MAX 2007 +
1 x CYBERMAXFM + 15 W FM Transmitter (what if in place of Transmitter I use a 15W FM booster which can be connected to PCI MAX)
1 x antenna.
For antenna my area has no mountains etc and the surface is plain. But there are many building and mostly all building have 8 Floors max.But are too far from my building,So which antenna should I buy.And one more thing.I will place my antenna on the 5th floor of my building.
1 x Coaxial cable (please let me know the good powerful one which I will buy from market in my city.)
2 x Supply (one for PCI MAX and one for CYBERMAX please suggest me how much power I need for both to operate,I will buy from market in my city.)
And how much range CYBER MAX Micro Covers.
Now my questions are over.I want to know do you have resellers in Pakistan. If not please let me know how I can order my things.
And please answer my all these questions and I wil be very thankful to you.

Why would you want to buy two different transmitters? Are you going to transmit two signals?
Cable? If short, use H-155, quite good and cheap.
Antenna? Do you want omnidirectional or directional?
Booster? Yes, you can buy booster to boost the signal from pci max to 15W.

No distributers in Pakistan.
I would use 500mW pci max for the booster, without the external power supply.

hi,
Thanks for your reply.Ok u said I need a 500mW pci max for the 15W booster. What if later I like to upgrade my booster so that it would become 300 or 500 W.So I also have to upgrade my PCI MAX also ?
And in how much time I get my order in Pakistan and does it support power input of 220 or are 110 like Japan ?

Well if you want to upgrade later you better get 1000mW version for PCI MAX and run it
without external pwer supply.
All mains voltages are supported, time of delivery depends on shipping type.

This 15W setup is pretty cool.
You know about the pci max setup also. You just have to decide.
The packages with antenna etc are here:

Now lastly I decided to buy a PCI MAX 2007+ (1000 mW) version and another 150 W FM Amplifier. What is the different between the digital one and the simple one 150 W watt FM Amplifier, and which is the best antenna to use with it
Now Here my setup :
PC ----> PCI MAX 2007+ ------>150 W FM Amplifier ------->Antenna
so this setup of mine is ok or I need something else and which antenna you recommend for me.I will place it on 4th or 5th floor of building.

It is obvious from the pictures that the digital amp is in a box, a list of features also tells
you that this is a complete unit with swr protection etc etc.
On the other end the simple 150W unit is just a module, you will have to do some wiring to
use it at all. Plus there is no swr protection, no power and swr display on the lcd, no easy
power adjustment from 0 to 150W with LCD and keys and no box.
What you prefer is really up to you and your abilities and budget. I do not know what you can
afford or what your skill level is.
The same goes for antenna. Generally speaking the higher in price you go the better antenna
you get. If what you have is 50 euro there isn't much to think about.
