hi recently bought the pcimax 2007 platinum, i just have 1 problem concerning the rds daughter board. ive got the rds working and it displays fine on my radio but the software for the pcimax only lets me program 16 of a possible 39 ps banks. so what you end up with is a message with a huge gap between each cycle of the rds banks. ive programed ps banks 1-16 but after the 16 have displayed there text i get a huge gap on the display. is there any way i can either program ther remaining banks or switch them off so it does not display the empty text gap. my card is intalled in a pc not as astand alone card with the display.

PLEASE CAN ANYONE HELP!!!!!! :(

The program sets the remaining ps delays to zero.

Try to power the pc off completely and turn it back on (not just
a reboot). Let me know how it goes.

Try to power it off completely. The idea is to force the RDS card to power off and back on.

Ok, if you want to try programming the rest of the PS, you can obtain driver and manual for the
microMAX-RM1 RDS encoder here, connect serial cable and program it from windows.

hi ive spent all day trying to get my pcimax with rm1 rds board to program as sugjested by you with the rm1 com port programmer but still have had no luck it simply will not program with that, the only thing i can program it with is with the rds feature on the ocimax software. will you be releasing a pci max software with rds that will program all of the 40 ps bank it would make life much easier for me :)

OK, I'll look into this with the next release of the driver.

Right now I'd like to wait for the bug/problem reports and than
proceed with next version.

this would be great if you could set the driver to program all 40 of the ps banks it would be a great help and asset to the cards selling point, also id like add that when programming te rt function on the rds it displays what i program into the rt vut also diplays a message from pcs electronics which i cant seem to remove. other than that i am verry happy with my card the audio qualily is brilliant when used with an audio proceessor :)

I just got my PCI Max 2007+ card and I have the same problem. It seems like the remaining uneditable banks are empty, but still has a delay greater than zero, causing the radio display to stay blank most of the time. One of my radios even caches the PS text for an extended period of time, so its display will remain blank unless I tune in while the user defined text are being transmitted.

I opened a topic a while ago hoping to get some details on how to operate the RDS daughter board via the PCI bus, but the response wasn't overwhelming. The vast amount of kernel32.DeviceIoControl() calls makes debugging of the communcation between the Win32 driver and the control application a tedious task. I hope PCS can shed some light on this.

Here is a fix for the RDS daughter board problems, a result of cooperation:

http://www.pcs-electronics.com/software ... 07plus.exe

Simply download this exe file and replace your current version,
all delays should now be written and rds should work as expected.

Sorry it took a while.
