15W FM transmitter package

Well, my english isn't that good, and i was wondering if THIS package had everything (Except from a computer, cables, and so on) to start transmitting aka. sending out signals (FM)?

I was also wondering what the back of this transmitter looked like, what kind of cable could i connect to it, could i connect it directly from my pc with an AUX cable, or do i need a mixing board, or maybe both? Does anyone have a picture maybe? Admins.. 8)

I Was also wondering if this transmitter has the capability (stupid word) of sending out the name of the radio station, so that you will see the name of the radiostation on the display in your car. (I think it called RDS.(How do i configure/add this?))
And what about adjusting the frequency, how the hell am i supposed to do that without any buttons.. :P

The distance i'd have to send to is about 8Km, i'm living at a high place, and there are no trees in the way, it's straight over the ocean to the nearest thing "that will recieve you signal and send it out with a LOT more power". Do you think this thing will be able to send the sinal that far with the "3/4 wave dominator antenna"?

If there is any questions you didn't understand, tell me..
I'm in a bit of rush to do this so ANY post would help me!
Thnank you.

Sincerly,
-Finsken :-?

P.S I'm thinking about model B, since it has a better antenna! :D

Edit: Hmm, is there any way to connect a thing that make the voltage go up, so that it will send out the signals further?

Yeah everything is included to start. I'm not too sure what type of audio inputs it has, but it's setup to plug straight into your computer's soundcard.

You'd likely be able to reach 8km from what you said your height and terrain are, however the signal could still be weaker out that far unless you could "see" the transmitter.

There's no RDS support, but Marko might know if you can add it later.

You underestimate yourself. Whilst not perfect (but who is?) you DO have good English. Just remember that "I" when talking about yourself is always capitalised, oh and "capability" is the right word for what you said above.

Your english is better than 20% of native english speakers :)
You would never believe the kind of emails we are getting occasionally.

I recommend that you check this link:
http://www.pcs-electronics.com/test/guide_how.php
There are no packages with RDS included so you'll have to hand-select the items you need.
That should be fairly simple with the above link as you have a link to each component of
the system there in a sample configuration. Remember you need Cyber Max FM 15W with
RDS, I believe this is model C.

I'm thinking of this package.

An amplifier will further increase your output power. Some boost it anywere from about 50 watts to 200+ watts. Of course there are ones that do more than that, but they're likely way beyond what you need or what your antenna can handle.

Usually you have to decrease your existing transmitter's power to around 1-5 watts before it hits the amplifier.

Depending on the amplifier he might need full 10-15W to drive (750W amp).

As far as coaxial cable goes, try Belden H500, its way cheaper and
almost as good.

15W FM TRANSMITTERS WITH DSP AND RDS is the one you want (also noted as Model C).
