NO power out on MAX III

Hi folks. Bought a max 3 about a month or so ago to replace my Max II. I looked for the manual on this site but was unable to find it; everythinig is now Max 3+ and Max 4.
No power out. I can hear it in my place but that's about it.
What should I do to check the condition of the transistor (final output). Should it be "open" between the collecter & base or shorted between the base & emitter(and so on). I felt the componants and nothing got even warm after 5-10 minutes
I have a new 15v power supply running the max 3 and an SE 4+ encoder, and I checked the output of the power supply before going on-line with the gear. It shows 15.23v so I couldn't have fried the final when I powered up (could I?). The SE4+ is working great (I'm using it with the old max II I already have). At the risk of sounding stupid, which is the transistor for the final out? I assume that it is the one near the center of the board.
My entire setup is: 15v power supply, SE4+, Max 3 exciter, 50' RG-8 cable, 1/4 wave ground plane mounted 28'.
If anyone has the max III and had or has a similar problem let me know. And Marko- if you see this let me know where I can find the manual again.
Any ideas-let me know!
