Radio Automation: SAM 3 vs. DRS 2006

Hello-
I am working with a new LPFM station in California and we have tested both SAM and DRS as our automation software but we are having a hard time choosing between them. I can tell from the earlier Automation Software thread that SAM 3 seems to be a favorite on this board but I was wondering if anyone has had long term experience with either program. Our station has limiting funding so whichever software we buy will need to be robust enough to last us a while.
Any help or advice on this would be highly appreciated!
