A question about the on-screen display for my PCMAX transmitter.
I ordered the 05 version (and the invoice identifies it as the PCIMAX 2005), but the on screen display identifies my transmitter as the PCIMAX 2004 v 2.0 Is this the latest version of the PCMAX, or did I get last year's? I'd like to have the latest version because of the improvements made to the transmitter and it's what I ordered. Anybody have any idea?

Well I think I just answered my own question. Based on a comparision of the photos here on the website, seems I do have the 05 version of the PCMAX. Among other upgrades, it includes the external power supply jack mounted on the board (which I understand was not included in the 04 edition of the PCMAX). Guess the display just reads 04 ...

IF and only you have an RDS version might getting the 2005 drivers be useful. Otherwise the 2004 version controls the transmitter fine in most cases.

Ye mines the same so ye I guess it is just the freq display cos its the very same to what I see on the site that is 2005.
