Radio Broadcasting for Dummies?

I was wondring if there was a good FAQ webpage out there. I have a lot of questions. I was a DJ at a commercial station in the past, but know nothing about the technical side of things.
Here are a couple of questions. I'm curious on how I set up a dummy load.
Also, is a low pass filter necessary with the pci-max?
This is my upcoming set up. Is there anything I'm missing?

15W booster
Kenwood SW 100 - SWR Power Meter
LMR400 RGB style coax
Yagi Antenna
