PCI MAX RDS - daughter boards - notice

Hello!
If you've ordered and received PCI MAX RDS and you don't
see the small daughter board on the PCB, you need to install
this small board to attain RDS functionality. RDS boards have been
dispatched to the customers last week and have mostly arrived.
If you haven't received yours yet, please contact us via Email
and we will check whether it has been indeed sent.
Also make sure you install our new PCI MAX 2005 driver
(uninstall old first).
Installation instructions for RDS daughter board:
Simply connect daughter board to the connector on the board. Make
sure it is correctly inserted, when correctly inserted the hole on the pcb
alignes with the hole on the daughter board.
You can use distancer and screw to fix board, if wanted (optional).
There is a 3-pin jumper on the small PCB. Connect the short 3-wire
cable from PCB to this 3-pin jumper. Black wire goes to ground and you
can see which pin is connected to ground on the pcb.
You will see an extra connector on the small board, this can be used
to connect new LCD control units. This unit lets you set frequency,
power and RDS parameters without the PC. LCD is backlighted.
