What am I doing wrong? Please help

Hi, I have purchase a PCIMAX3000+.
Inserted into free PCI slot...connected all the necessary bits as per Chapter 4 in manual.
(I am only using the 1Watt...infact we can only legally broadcast 1/2 a watt.
Do I need external power? Is this my issue? Nothing fancy added just the board.
Board not detected by my PC at all.... all drivers downloaded and installed... nothing... I have even spoken to it nicely !
Please someone talk mne through this in a jargon free way...... Trying to set this system up for the school kids and I am about to loose the plot!!

did you connect usb cable and power cable in the pc?

Hi, white USB cable attached from PCI card to computer. PC has power to it and turned on.
I didn't attach a power cable to the PCI card itself...is that the issue? I thought I didn't need one?

Help please.......

I have fixed it...it does ned power to the card.......... there is a radio god!!!!

JUST GOT THE PCI MaX 3000 i didnt get the driver for so i read the forum to find the driver i found the pci max 2007 driver and micro maxv40 driver also i download the libray files and archive usb.
i install them then restated the pc

now here are the setup step i took

place the card in open slot in the pc then plug the ide power cord in then i plug the white usb cord in then connected the antenna then power on machine loaded, then the computer found the usb sound stream and began to install driver for it once it finish setting up i click on the pcimax 2007 icon on my desktop a windows pop up with pcimax 2007 + card not found also in sam broadcaster it dont even show up please help open a LPFM station and gotta get test patterning done. as well as tuning

use software for micromax4.

go to window and check fm transmitter. then it should work.
