One more question, if I were to use a frequency that I could verify it didn't interfere with others would it be ok or is it just a bad idea to broadcast outside of the preset range.

Just letting you all know, if anyone can answer my question, i havn't disapeared. In response to the above post, I mean can there be a frequency selected outside of the ~87-108 range.

5w vs 15 watt
I have a question about the two amps, they cost the same so shouldn't I just get the 15 watt. Can the power of the 15 watt be dropped down to 5 watts or any other settings?

I am plannning on purchasing the pci max fm transmitter and I have a couple of questions. Is it possible to change the frequency range outside of the preset, and if so is is changed by software or hardware. I saw in another post that the FCC generally turns a blind eye to transmitters under 5 watts ...
