The 741 is an op-amp and like many op-amps uses a dual polarity voltage for power. In other words you put B+ on pin 7 and B- on pin 4.

When you say OZ I guess you're referring to Australia. My suggestion to you would be to check E-Bay. There are many vendors that have these sort of items at varying costs. Good luck
