Looks like if lightening struck my J-pole antenna, it would have fried my whole PC. But it could have just been a power surge like what fried my ethernet ports and my router.

The problem was probably that you did not press "Update TX".

After you do that it takes a few seconds for the PLL/frequency to be set
and power raised to full.

I got my PCIMAX3000+ transmitter up and running but can't remember how to toggle between the transmitter and the sound card.

Even after I reboot my PC the transmitter takes over without even starting the MicroMax V40 program.
