Hello, long since last time I was here. I thought we could continue this thread, tell about your studio and equipment you use.

I have the same as listed in the first post, but i have upgraded to a 150W amp.
And use Limbo 1 Compressor and SE5000 DSP stereo encoder with RDS.

I disconnected all the equipment and connected it up again, so does everything perfect again as it was before.
Transmit now with 125W perfect stereo and RDS

I think the most popular broadcasting metode is FM

You need a license for broadcasting on the FM band

But I think it would be okay, if you do not disturb others.

I doubt it, it will ann on which country you live.

But as long as you act nicely on the air and not destroy the other stations, there is often good.

It depends on how high you have your antenna, and if you have other nearby channels to your frequency.

But 5 miles should be no problem with 15 watt transmitter, and a clear view to your listeners.

Well, 200 dollars are little too low, for 5 miles range you need:
15 watt transmitter.
Antenna (outdoor)
Power supply
Coaxial cable ( 50 ohm)

It's been almost a year since I wrote this and I have upgraded my radio station with an amplifier, stereo sound and RDS feature.
All of it purchased from PCS Electronics.

No, I don't think that's the problem, the noise are still there when im 3km away from where the transmitter are located...

The ''stereo noise'' stop when I turn down the FM amp.

The amplifier and stereoencoder are located in different places.

Also when the rds encoder is disconected the noise still are there. maybe it is the new amp who disturb. Im gonna check it out when im back from work.

No, when I take out the RDS board it is still there.

Power from transmitter?
I have 40 watt before now I have 100 watt

Suddenly, I have been noise in the background, it is only when I have stereo signal, when I put over to mono, it is gone,
What is the problem?

It don't work with SAM Broadcaster, but I found another solution so now it display Song title & Artist on the display

The only thing I wonder is how I can get the sound higher?
