The driver is updated to work with modern kernels (tested with 3.8.1). The repo have changed to Git, so you will have to re-checkout the code: https://code.google.com/p/pcimaxfm/source/checkout

Transmitters newer than 2007+ are probably not supported, but patches are of course welcome. :)

PCI Max models newer than 2005 doesn't have a TX power toggle as far as I know (I think I asked Marko about this once). When not broadcasting set the power level to 0 ...

Grab it off that site for a start and see how it works for pci max
without RDS function.

Otherwise you can use windows driver to set rds to ON and than use
it in llinux with old driver. The setting is stored in memory and
retained when you power-off the PC.
Than the old driver will work just ...

I just got my PCI Max 2007+ card and I have the same problem. It seems like the remaining uneditable banks are empty, but still has a delay greater than zero, causing the radio display to stay blank most of the time.
