It varies from card to card, plus its likely that your power meter is inacurate.
Most SWR/POWER meters require at least 3-4W to show power with any accuracy.
My power supply is Instek SPS 3610. It is not a reason.
I have 2 power meters. One of them АМ-8001 (http://www.aktakom.ru ...

I have 2 PCI MAXs 2006+. Its have 16 ohm resistance you recommended to change for increasing output power. Why my cards have only 410 mW when I use 15V power supply?

Changing output transistors

As I know PCI MAX 2006+ has max output power 400 mW. Or I'm not right? Yes, of course, I use transmitter in stand-along mode with power supply 15 V...
It is real to increase power by changing output transistors?

Power level's save

I use my PCI MAX 2006+ in stand along mode with power supply 15 V and mini LCD module. I change power level by LCD module but after power off/on I see max power level most often. Why?

As I know, PCI MAX 2006 has max output power 350 mW when installed in the PCI slot. Transmitter do not use external power 12-15 Volts when installed in the PCI slot. And it does not work with external power supply without LCD module. It would give 1Watt output power when it being used outside the ...

I have already removed the noise by changing external power supply. Thanks. I used PC AT power supply earlier.

Hi,
I had a friend measure it with some type of cell-sight RF meeter. I realy don't know much about those things.
I'm useing it in my computer on the PCI slot.
Could it be possible the card was shorted when I installed it in my PC due to static electricity or something?
By the way, how far of range ...

Re: 350mW or 1 watt.... HOW CAN I TELL!!!!

I have the new PCI max 2006+ and It is only putting out 1mW. MAX. I would like to find out weather its the 350mW or 1 watt version.

What measuring instrument did you use?

The output seems rather weak, I bought it as the 1 WAtt version, but I can't beleave it is, because it came with no papers ...

That's not really strange you just don't seem to have enough volts powering it. I'm not sure what its limit is, but I would think it can go higher.
Technical specifications of PCI MAX 2006 tell about 15 V maximum. I have one's doubts that output power will increase till 1W from addition 3 volts ...

Output power of PCI MAX 2006

I have measured output power my PCI MAX 2006 by wattmeter Telewave 44A. I could see a maximum only 0.5 W. Transmitter is being used as separate unit with DC power supply 12 V 20 A. Measuring have been done with equivalent load 50 ohm. Anybody can explain this strange result?
