It varies from card to card, plus its likely that your power meter is inacurate.
Most SWR/POWER meters require at least 3-4W to show power with any accuracy.
My power supply is Instek SPS 3610. It is not a reason.

Power level's save
I use my PCI MAX 2006+ in stand along mode with power supply 15 V and mini LCD module. I change power level by LCD module but after power off/on I see max power level most often. Why?

As I know, PCI MAX 2006 has max output power 350 mW when installed in the PCI slot. Transmitter do not use external power 12-15 Volts when installed in the PCI slot. And it does not work with external power supply without LCD module. It would give 1Watt output power when it being used outside the ...

I have the new PCI max 2006+ and It is only putting out 1mW. MAX. I would like to find out weather its the 350mW or 1 watt version.
What measuring instrument did you use?
The output seems rather weak, I bought it as the 1 WAtt version, but I can't beleave it is, because it came with no papers ...

My PCI MAX 2006 has blown when I connected power supply 15 Volts. Polarity was right. It have blown chip. Please tell me what name has this chip? May be anybody can give me schematic diagram of PCI MAX 2006?

Output power of PCI MAX 2006
I have measured output power my PCI MAX 2006 by wattmeter Telewave 44A. I could see a maximum only 0.5 W. Transmitter is being used as separate unit with DC power supply 12 V 20 A. Measuring have been done with equivalent load 50 ohm. Anybody can explain this strange result?
