I recently purchased a new pcimax 2006+. All works great with 2004 drivers, but I can only get about 250mw output.
Iam running an external 13.8 (Clean dc volts). My vswr is 1.1:1
Now Iam wondering if I got the 350mw version shipped to me, by mistake.
How do I tell the difference between the 350mw ...

The card does run just fine on its own cooling. My heatsink seems to get pretty warm but not too hot! The way my pci max is installed in pci slot the component side of the board is down. I already had the fan etc, so I just installed it anyway. I just like it better when the heatsink is just above ...

I've recently purchased a PCI MAX 2006 1 watt card and did some testing on it. I broadcasted for 3 days on full power and no heat damage to the output. Heatsink got hot but no failures. This is on its own with no cooling.

I tried the new 2006+ driver with rds support , but it would not fully install. It says :

Cannot find the file `D:\Progra~1\Pcimax~2\wdreg16.exe`(Or one of its components);

I downloaded the Win98 version as Iam running win 98 on a p2 mmx.
I also tried on my p3 450 Mhz. Same error. So Ill reinstall ...
