just get an amplifier so you can transmit farther, the 5watt amp should cover some miles

Antenna in tree
Znight's transmission carried off pretty well, usually in crowded areas it came in best. I would first look into what youre reciving it with, as cheap walkman's dont really pick up anything low power at all
. about any half decent car stereo should work tho.

Get an RF Modulator and hook it to a linear amplifier, then an antenna.

PS is never included
most places you buy from won't give you a free PS. just search around and you should probally find a ham shop online selling one at a decent price.

backwards...
The one THEY are selling is older. Anyway it's smarter to buy the 100mW version because it can drive the 5W booster, thus making it upgradable.

It's rather easy, look at the board and compare it with the current one. I think i've heard about it being 200 mW before anyway...

The truth about the 200mW version
This is actually an older version of the PCI Max board, it would probally be a better idea to buy a newer one than deal with the ebay people (they are overcharging people.)

how well does the antenna included with the pci max work?
it does look like i could easily hide it in a tree or other area outdoors so destructive kids couldnt find it (dont ask)
