I got this c1971 since about 10 years (bought it in case of replacement on an electronic local store), but you're right, maybe is not an original.
Now, where to buy original ones?, most online are from china.

about the RD15HVF1, that's a 15watt transistor I think, don't know ...

I checked the MaxPro1 and everything seems to be ok.
As manual indicates for increase the output power, I put a capacitor (12pf is what i found) in parallel to c19 capacitor, with that mod I could get 4 watts on 94.9 mhz, was fine, but thats only a little more output ...

Hi, I have an old MaxPro1 unit with lcd display, the output transistor failed (burned) so I replaced it with the same c1971 but now I only get 3.5 watts of output instead of 7 watts. that's about half the power I was getting before with 14.1 volts.

Hi, I'd like to know the advantages of the MicroMax over the SE3.
is it MicroMax better than SE3?
or is it the SE3 a better stereo encoder than MicroMax for MAXPRO1?

I'm afraid I already tried more than two things:

1.)More output level in the soundcard results in more noise, In fact at the highest volume the noise and hissing is higher and the music sound is still too low (even if volume is open in MAXPRO1) compared with the output level of the AWE32.

I have the MaxPro1 with stereo encoder and a slow computer (380Mhz) with a Soundblaster AWE32 sound card (ISA slot), I've been broadcasting running winamp with soundsolution and the sound is excellent, clear and clean.

Yes my friend, of course you I can do that with a wattmeter, but according to the MAXPRO1 design, when you turn the output power trimmer , what position is set to put the minimum watts?, is that all to the left?,

and if I turn the trimmer all to the right, that is suppose to give me the maximum rf ...

About the MAXPRO1, the RF output power is 0 to 7Watts, variable via onboard trimmer, but, What position of the trimmer gives you the minimun and the maximun power?

What about a laptop power adapter? , it has an output of 18.5 VDC 2.7A, with a 12V regulator to get the right voltage.
Can it be used as a power supply unit for the MAXPRO1?

good question, I use the hose band model, which is the first in the pdf, and it seems to be like the manual you have.

oh yes it is my friend, it´s a power meter/dummy load, I saw a little information about it in other site, and seems it works, I just wanted to know how to use it more exactly with the MAXPRO1.

Hi, I'd like to know how to use a Volt meter to measure the output power in the MAXPRO 1, since I don't have a SWR meter for adjusting the transmitter, or another suggestion.
