I got this c1971 since about 10 years (bought it in case of replacement on an electronic local store), but you're right, maybe is not an original.
Now, where to buy original ones?, most online are from china.
about the RD15HVF1, that's a 15watt transistor I think, don't know ...

Hi, I have an old MaxPro1 unit with lcd display, the output transistor failed (burned) so I replaced it with the same c1971 but now I only get 3.5 watts of output instead of 7 watts. that's about half the power I was getting before with 14.1 volts.

Yes my friend, of course you I can do that with a wattmeter, but according to the MAXPRO1 design, when you turn the output power trimmer , what position is set to put the minimum watts?, is that all to the left?,
and if I turn the trimmer all to the right, that is suppose to give me the maximum rf ...

Power Meter
Hi, I'd like to know how to use a Volt meter to measure the output power in the MAXPRO 1, since I don't have a SWR meter for adjusting the transmitter, or another suggestion.
