hahaha yea When the transmitter is at its full power you can feel the induction in your body. Thats why I have the stay 3 feet away from the window rule when someone visits. (I try to keep it down to about half a watt) but sometimes I get a little on the adventure side and crank it up :lol ...

do TV channels 4, 5, & 6 in north america run the audio portion in am or fm format?

The developer kit which includes one board and lcd display, power supply and documents is a bit steep at $1,500.00 Cheap if you are making 1,000,000 to 10,000,000 radios.

I suggest a leaky coax antenna for use at ones home. Take some very cheap low quality RG-58 the kind that has poor outer braid covering.

Marko is correct on the match. both RG-8 and RG-58 are 50 ohm cables.

If you are running more than 25 feet from the amp to the antenna, you are loosing some of the power that could be running out the antenna instead of the heat generated by the high relative loss that RG-58 gives you at 100 mhz ...

Could the linux driver written for the newest version of the ISA Max be modified to work with the older ISA Max ? ( 1 watt upgraded version of the original 750 mw. board ) Anyone have some information on what has to be done?
